Organisation

The Federal Office for Central Services and Unresolved Property Issues (BADV) was established in 2006 as a higher federal authority within the jurisdiction of the Federal Ministry of the Interior. The agency has a range of functions and employs around 300 staff at 11 locations.

Since the entry into force of the Act to Amend the Organisation of the Federal Equalisation of Burdens Office on 13 March 2008, the Federal Equalisation of Burdens Office (BAA) and the Federal Office for Central Services and Unresolved Property Issues (BADV) have shared a joint administration, with the BADV being responsible for the internal administration of the BAA. The president of the BADV, Florian Scheurle, is also the president of the BAA.

President Florian Scheurle is the head of the BADV and represents the organisation externally.

The BADV management is supported by the managerial staff and the administrative department.

Division President and Head of Division B/C - Dorothea Kraski -

Division President Dorothea Kraski is head of Division B/C, which is responsible for making decisions on compensation for property losses.
